Welcome Week
The GSLS cordially invites all new doctoral researchers to join the Welcome Week from Monday 26 March to Thursday 29 March 2012.
The welcome week is an offer for all new GSLS doctoral researchers with basic courses that you will need for your curriculum in the GSLS, but also to enable you to get to know each other, the structure and routines of the GSLS. Together with the Doctoral Researchers Council we would like to offer you a mixed program with introductions, courses and social activities.
Monday 26 March: Welcome and Opening, University Campus Tour, Pub Crawl in the evening
Tuesday 27 March: workshop on "Cross-cultural Training", 9:00 to 17:00 followed by an intercultural get-together
Wednesday 28 March: workshop on "Good Scientific Practice", 9:00 to 16:30
Thursday 29 March: MENTORING life sciences Orientation meeting, 9:00 to 10:00 Introduction, "Weißwurstfrühstück", workshop: "Copyright in Science", 14:00 to 18:00
