Intramural Funding Opprtunities

The fuding opportunities listed here are restricted to grants administered by the UWGS or other central University institutions and boards. 

Of course, in addition there is a multitude of extramural funding sources (see the pages of the individual Graduate Schools for useful links: GSH, GSLS).

As a starting point, you should always talk to your supervisor/supervisory committee to discuss funding.

• "STIBET": Several different funding lines for international doctoral researchers and postdocs, e.g. fellowships to finish a thesis
• "PROMOS": For participation of German docotral researchers in methods courses / workshops abroad
• "New Passage To India": For stays of German doctoral researchers in India
