    GSLS Careers Talk

“Paul-Ehrlich-Institut: Career opportunities in research and regulation”

    When: Friday, 8th February 2019, 1.00pm – 2.30pm

Where: Lecture Hall, Graduate School of Life Sciences, Beatrice-Edgell-Weg 21, 97074 Würzburg

    Speaker: Dr. Ralf Sanzenbacher, Paul-Ehrlich-Institut

The presentation introduces job opportunities in the context of mission and goals of the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut (PEI), the German Federal Institute for Vaccines and Biomedicines.

The PEI primarily acts as regulatory authority for supervision of medicinal products, providing services in public health. Here, a main work focus is on assessing and monitoring the benefit-risk balance of biomedicines for human use and immunological medicines for veterinary use before, during and after the marketing authorisation. Additionally, The Paul-Ehrlich-Institut’s own experimental research in the field of life sciences builds an indispensable basis for the fulfilment of its duties. The Paul-Ehrlich-Institut reports to the German Federal Ministry of Health (Bundesministerium für Gesundheit).

This talk is free of charge. For planning purposes, please register online if you would like to attend: GSLS Workshops & Careers Talks Registration.
