"ScanReading" - Read Faster and Remember More!
- In German -
PLEASE NOTE:
This workshop is VERY IMPORTANT for you, especially in the early phase of your doctorate (i.e. up to about the 4th semester of your doctorate), in order to be able to deal with the large and varied volumes of texts and sources to be expected in the humanities in the most productive and structured way possible right from the start.
Double or quintuple your reading speed! Experience full access to what you have read!
ScanReading is a speed reading method that has been developed on the basis of many years of experience with Photoreading®*, Speedreading®** and other speed reading techniques. It goes far beyond the previously known methods and offers you the following benefits:
CONTENTS:
- You will double to quintuple your reading speed during the seminar! - In the years 2005 to 2023, 96% of participants achieved this goal during the seminar;
- You will learn how to consciously store things in your brain so that you can better retain what you have read and access it with confidence;
- You will dramatically reduce your exam preparation time through networked learning;
- You will utilise your mental abilities (and awaken some of them in the seminar) to get what is important and relevant to you from the text;
- You will (perhaps finally) enjoy reading again;
- You will learn different reading methods for different texts (textbooks, journals, scripts,...)
- You will love working through non-fiction books in 1 - 2 hours and always retain the option of being able to read a novel very slowly and enjoyably.

Your planning: Schedule time per module (live session, watch instructional videos, do exercises...). The combination Tuesday/Friday has proven to be the best solution. This means that those who like to fit in a 10-minute exercise during the week can train to the maximum and those who want to have the week to themselves can still do the minimum exercises on Friday and Monday.
When you watch the videos and then do the exercises is up to you. However, it makes little sense to do everything in one go the night before a subsequent appointment. The aim is to organise everything independently throughout the week. This is much more brain-friendly and ensures good networking in the brain and lasting success:
Please note: The times given for the exercises are the lower limit. You are welcome to train and practise more, there is no upper limit. Logically, more practice sessions lead to potentially greater learning success. Between the live sessions, Mr Gaedeke is always available to all participants via WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal and can provide assistance via "short official channels".
