Info, Tips & Tricks for Fellowship Applications.

We are once again offering our doctoral candidates our special information event "Der Stipendiengreifer"  this semester (in German).

IMPORTANT: Our offer is also aimed at those students in the final phase of their studies who are planning to do their doctorate with our members.

We would like to increase the chances of our doctoral candidates who do not yet have a doctoral fellowship and students who would like to apply for a doctoral fellowship.

NB: At the University of Würzburg, targeted support and funding for doctoral candidates in the humanities with fellowship counselling and overviews of all eligible doctoral scholarships is only available at the GSH. As a current and potential doctoral candidate at GSH, you will also benefit from this "Added Value" of your doctorate with us (see below).

The event lasts about one and a half hours and the information about the respective fellowships, the tips & tricks on how to apply etc. that I offer there go far beyond what can be found on our "Info & Service" page .

The number of participants is initially limited to 15.

Participation is possible

  • with binding registration and
  • stating the field of study

from 22/12/2025 - 29/1/2026 with us.

We will also send a separate invitation to our doctoral candidates and members as well as posters. Please also inform potential fellow students, i.e. students you know in the final stage of their studies, about this special offer. Thank you!
