Abstract:
My dissertation deals with the question of the extent to which philosophising with children can contribute to intercultural learning. This question will be analysed from the perspective of school pedagogy, educational theory and philosophical didactics.

As the children's ability to reflect is promoted by the joint philosophical dialogue and is at the same time indispensable for the child's engagement with their own and other cultures, there are parallels between philosophising with children and intercultural learning. The aim is therefore to investigate the extent to which the ability to reflect is promoted through philosophising so that the child can independently engage with the foreign culture.

In particular, the aspect of multiple perspectives will be taken into account. The approach of the work consists primarily of analysing the relevant research literature and examining the didactic concepts in school classes.
