Graduate Schools Day 2025

Each year the University Würzburg Graduate Schools (UWGS) invite their doctoral candidates, members and alumni for a half-day celebration.

The Graduate School of Life Sciences (GSLS) cordially invites you to celebrate this year's Graduate Schools Day.

We are pleased to have GSLS Alumni talking about their careers and hope for an informative afternoon with interesting insights.

Afterwards our keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Tobias Ullmann, Earth Observation Research Cluster, JMU will give a talk entitled “Looking from above to look ahead: Remote Sensing for tomorrow".

In the evening, we move on to the casual part of the day as we will have a barbecue at the Graduate Schools Building area in a relaxed atmosphere. Thanks to a donation, we will have live music from the band “Main Project” with a broad stylistic repertoire.
