Yes. Experimental work may begin before official admission; however, your application for the MD Excellence Program must be formally submitted prior to the start of the experimental phase.

Yes, even if no figures from publications are included. Add a statement that no figures in the thesis are taken from publications.

Can I submit my dissertation before having the M3 certificate and being enrolled in the "Promotionsstudiengang"?
|
Yes, submission is possible if you have a published co-authorship or a guarantee from your primary supervisor. However, you can only defend your dissertation in the semester in which you are enrolled in the "Promotionsstudiengang" and have the M3 certificate.

Confirm eligibility with your supervisor before submission. Defense requires enrollment and M3 certificate.
