Good Scientific Practice

The University of Würzburg has enacted Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice and Procedures Concerning Scientific Misconduct that are mandatory for all members of the University.

Please see the Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice and Procedures Concerning Scientific Misconduct and refer to this regularly.

Here you can find further information about Good Scientific Practice at the University of Würzburg.

The DFG (German Research Foundation) brought in a new Code of Conduct "Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Research Practice" in July 2019.  All univeristies and non-university research centres have two years from 1st August 2019 to implement the guidelines of this new code and bring the current standard practices of their institutions into alignment with the new code.

Further information regarding the Code of Conduct can be seen on the DFG website here.

Until the new code has been implemented, the current guidelines (linked above) apply to all members of the University of Würzburg.
